Enterprise
Enterprise is Generation21's flagship product. Enterprise is an "end to end" product. It offers full Learning Management, Content Management, and Content Assembly tools. Enterprise captures the power of Gen21's unique Knowledge Object technology to deliver industry-leading performance support and tailored learning to our clients. Enterprise is economical, highly scalable and very easy to implement. Enterprise utilizes a Linux OS and Orion application server allowing for excellent stability and high user loads. This powerful, highly functional software operates in three modules:
Knowledge Navigator
Knowledge Navigator is the student's portal into the courses you provide them. Like other Online Course delivery tools Navigator enables students to register for and take on-line courses. It features a grade-book where users can print out course certificates after course completion. Gerneration21's Knowledge Navigator also provides a valuable tool for "Just-In-Time" information called Performance Support.
Knowledge Assembler
The Knowledge Assembler is our course creation tool. Nothing else like it exists in the Content Management market. Assembler's colorful graphical user interface makes course assembly and modification a breeze. Powerful Object Sharing and Versioning tools eliminate duplicitous work. Knowledge Objects can be created, used, shared, re-used, updated, and modified in numerous ways.
Knowledge Manager
The Knowledge Manager is the Training Administrator's tool. The Knowledge Manager is a logical interface to a powerful database of information on all aspects of web-based and instructor-led training. With the Knowledge Manager's form-based interface, you can manage Users (employees, learners or students depending on your business requirements); Courses, Library Items, Curricula, Classrooms, Materials, Equipment, Instructors, Scheduling, Email Communication, Expense Tracking, and Reporting.
Enterprise can be hosted on your own equipment at your own site. Or it can be hosted and maintained by us at Generation21's State-of-the-Art Data Center.
Expert
Expert is a scaled-down version of Enterprise. Expert is hosted in our Carrier-Class Data Center. Most administrative activities are accomplished with online Wizards. Expert does not include a course development tool, yet is an extremely economical means of delivering online courses to your students.
